Sharad Mani Thakur, a geography giant along with great command in physical science. I think studying geography without having knowledge of some basic physics and laws associated with it, is like a famous hindi proverb "ADHKAL GAGARI CHHALKAT JAYE" . As he has done his graduation with physics as main subject , M.A. in Geography and M.phil. in IR, he has vast knowledge of these disciplines. He just links various disciplines in a very understandable and precise manner. When you will be attending his classes, you will come to know the variables of other subjects also. He provides an in-depth insight of everything required for being a successful UPSC aspirant. He is so energetic and has a good sense of humour. He is very passionate about teaching and a chilled out person which helps the students to reduce the extra burdens imposed on them in their path to success. Coming to his way of teaching geography, he teaches each and every topic in a very synchronised manner. He synchronises each and every topic with various disciplines also. He tells multidimensional aspects of everything. His classroom notes are just pointwise and not story type. You can revise the whole geography syllabus in a day or two itself because of his method of teaching every topic with the help of maps,charts,diagrams etc. which makes it easy to understand. If you are not from a science background there is no need to fear when Sharad Mani sir is there. In Sharad Sir's class you will get every opportunity to clear all your doubts as the strength of the class is limited to 50-60 students only instead of 1100-1200 students that you will find in most of the institutes in Delhi. Now, if you are quering for the fee he demands for full syllabus, I want to tell you, he does not believe in delegation because he is not money minded. He really wants to help the financially weaker students to achieve their dreams under his guidance. You can compare him with Anand Kumar of Super 30 . So the fee he demands is 10,000 for GS module and 35,000 for GS+Optional module which I think is very nominal compared to the quality he provides. In addition to Geography optional and GS he also supplements it with environment & ecology and disaster management.Along with these he discusses India year book and Economic survey in full length. You will also learn about different variables of International Relations. He also discusses previous year questions related with each and every topic. The most important thing is that he never asks for fee initially. I am the student of June 2022 batch ..My experience of classes is totally at next level..Sir is excellent teacher ,he is expert in linking topics. After having more than 1 month classes i am able to solve many questions .His way of teaching helps in better understanding and interconnecting topics. In addition ,he gave extra knowledge for personality development and other imp burning issues. I nvr feel boredom in his class. Also , course given is at an affordable price and more than enough .

Sharad Sir is a teacher par excellence. There is no match for teaching style and command over the subject. He never teaches with any book in his hand and still remembers each and every PYQ of UPSC. he makes us practise PYQ after completion of each respective topic.He charges very minimal fee that too can be paid in installments and teaches about a fourth portion of GS covering Geo, Sci&Tec, Env & Eco and Disaster Management . Everything is diagramatically explained in a very lucid fashion. His Class notes comprise the data from latest vol of Eco Survey as well as India Year Book. His Knowledge is so well versed that he never fails to answer any question.Class is always open for doubts while Sir is teaching and after that also.
