I was totally new to this field and the course was very simple and effective. Our teacher Mr. Guru Sankar was an expert with diamond and was well versed in the subject, a professional, is a dedicated teacher who taught us and patiently cleared all the doubts and queries. The study materials were standard and the testing equipments given were also simple to be operated. As part of the course, we were given a lab tour as well. I could witness simple and basic equipments to varify and give the jewelry a check on, for the certification. It was certain that the persons working behind those equipments were way more experts. However, I expected to have a glimpse of many of the machines. Here I suggest there is room for improvement on the complexity as well. The team IGI Chennai was very welcoming especially Ms. Janet Yabese Rajamani, the student coordinator was very friendly, understanding, loving and patient to attend every student. The centre manager Mr. Venkatasayee Balasunderam was a well behaved and a humble person who took time to enquire about the students in person. On the whole, it was a great experience. I would definitely be in contact since I believe they will sincerely give guidance and support throughout.
