Lavda college Ewwwww the staff are rude and events are so lame they invite just anyone who we don't even know Campus ka Patra bachho ke sar pe gir Gaya no safety Campus Mai Pani bhar ja ta hai Class ka Patra leak karta hai Teacher ke jagah senior students of college padhate hai who has no experience If u want percentage under 60.this is best college for you They will torture you Hate it

Was a science student from 2007-2009 (FYJC and SYJC).The dreadful two years of my life! Computer science faculties couldn't even talk proper English but used to be strict as hell.Since this college is one of those colleges to absorb 'bade baap ke bigde hue bete',some of us were near to get bullied (College had anti ragging squad that time but I said 'bullied'). Some highlights at that time: Mrs Devleker (Chemistry teacher) - unnecessary showing biased behaviour. Mrs.Chitra Joshi (Chemistry) - lost(rather got stolen) my chemistry lab kit during practicals and after informing she simply said 'mag mi kay karu'.They have high tech infra but no budget for CCTV (talking about year 2007). Bhakti Wagh (Computer Science) - 'Those who are not submit journals their journals are not get checked' kind of English. Even the computer lab guy at that time had more attitude than professors. In 11th standard the attendance was compulsary as hell that the defaulters used to receive letter in their house while in 12th, classes used to be empty and computer labs used to be full to attend Mr.Karmude's private tutions. I hope the management is good now since college has become Autonomous.

Ruia college is a very well known and educational college in Mumbai. Its location might be a bit of a walk from the station, but not too far. The teaching and overall campus is great.

As a Ruia College student, I can vouch on Ruia. Ruia is an college which has some really good faculty who are not only highly intelligent but also treat students lovingly and have genuine concern towards them. The infrastructure of the college is such that more than an institute to learn it makes the students feel at home. Also the college is accessible both by bus and local trains. Ruia has a Marathi culture overall, but still there is no difference seen and all students are friendly to an extent that you can smile at any one sitting in the Ruia quadrangle and they will smile back. If you want to make memories alongwith academics, then Ruia is must P.S- The food joints around the college are superb and pocket friendly!

Excellent College for Science and Arts! Very good faculty,many co-curricular activities are going on! If you want to perceive a good career in science or arts field,then this is THE COLLEGE for you!! Cutoffs are very high though.
