Located in Belur Math. This is a college may be under Calcutta University, but I went there for an exam. It has a beautiful big playground. The entire college campus is eye soothing, well decorated, clean. The ambience is very pleasant. But staffs who conducting the exam are not too professional. They don't have proper knowledge how the exam should be conducting and make unnecessary delay. Took the manual attendance when the online test had already begun. But one thing I must have to appreciate that, The Maharaj Ji, who is the main person of this college, offered an entire room for the guardians of the students for rest till the exam over. I didn't see anything like that before in an exam. This should be a plus point. Overall experience is decent.

It is an Autonomous Post Graduate College under the University of Calcutta, formerly known as Belur BT College or Belur Basic Training College. It provides B.Ed. Training Course and is also the CTE or College of Teacher Education, as well as offering M.Ed., M. Phil. in Education and P.hD. in Education. Apart from this it also offers Post Graduation Diploma in Guidance and Counselling and Post Graduation Diploma in Yoga and Health Education. It's providing a good opportunity for teacher education with various specialities, including Placement Facilities. Students wanted to be into Teacher's Training Course must try to get themselves admitted here.
