You'll need to fill up a form with your genealogical predecessors even if you want to ask a single question about their services. They will need those details so that they can vex you with pesky calls.

I dedicated my 1 year here and wasted half of the time . 1. The syllabus the have made can be completed within 5-6 months but they delay it to 2 years by another focus batch with extra payment except that 1 lakh . 2. The teachers are all well qualified for school or college education but they are not apt for competitive atmosphere. 3. The management is worst of it's kind . 4. The library facility is worst . Every time you visit to read there new rules come in like a) Renewal of card B) upgradation of profile photo C) No issuance of book for reading without the sm card not even by IDENTITY card . D) force student to leave the library after 7:45 only . 4. The exam is conducted but no details answer is provided only the answer key is given . 5. To collect the exam related material you have to grease oil a lot of people . You have to get print out of the admit card or registration form of exam , and every time you have to give 3 copies of photo graphs to collect the material. 6. The despatch section material distribution section helpers are so rude and arrogant that you hate going in front of them . 7 . The CCO are worst and illeterate . 8. SRO Mr Nripen sir the most eligible person to handle the head office 9. Worst service for any ssc related cource . And many more you get into the rice you are helpless and no one is there to help you on requirement. But before admission they will treat you like their own son/daughter. ------writing on the time frame of 2022-2023 .

Rice Education Belgharia will probably delete my review because they can't digest constructive criticism. Anyways all these 4star reviews praising them, are surely paid reviews. Here's some of the points on why they are scamming students : 1) Initially they will promise during admission that in case a student misses classes he/she will be given a replacement class however in reality they rarely do that and blame it upon the students. 2) There is no logic behind these 1.5 hours of classes for each subject and what's sad is that the teachers will sometimes finish 1-2 chapters during that time. They will rush topics and expect students to do same. Tell me a teacher has been teaching a subject and since 10-20 years, whereas the student was just instroduced to that, ofc it will take time to grasp the subject matter. 3) The benches and desks are too small to keep the books and with over 50-60 students per batch everything is just too conjusted. Also overall infrastructure seems pretty low unlike those glorified pics on Google. 4) This Belgharia institute isn't flexible. Each day the schedule is too strenuous. I agree that government exams are different but that doesn't mean that a student will have to slog himself/herself for 9 hours from 9am to 6pm. Rice Belgharia is just an institute. Why do they have to act like a school ? Every time you need to ask permission if you are absent, you can't skip class according to your needs, even in that small lunch break of 30-40 minutes, sometimes teachers eat up 5-10 minutes, etc. 5) To add to the last point. Sometimes in the last period teachers will blabber nonsense about their personal life and stretch the already 1.5 hours class to 2hrs. 6) After a long time i realised that even the faculty can sometimes be hard to bear. Thick about it, suppose you are a well qualified man/woman with good fluency in English, why will you teach in a normal institute, ofcourse you will opt for teaching in a school, right ? 7) It's a well known fact that within a year it's difficult to crack these government exams because of tough competition. Rice uses this in their favor. They will initially promise that they are so efficient that you will definitely get a job. However in reality they won't care. 8) I don't wanna mention the names but some members of the administration and faculty display really bad behaviour towards the students. 9) All these institutes are afterall running a business, and I can't really blame them, however all i suggest as a student is that join some other Rice in Kolkata. There are many more but this Belgharia one is just a disappointment. 10) Also I'm writing all this review from an anonymous account because they will bring this review up in the class and might humiliate me infront of everyone.

Whether it is RICE or MIES or anything else, ultimately at the end of the day you have to study hard for your own success. A few of the faculties I got there were real gems of course💎, but some were not upto the mark since they still follow bygone days study methods which are not enough for cracking present days level of competitive exams. Finally this is my own experience, by the way I still get a government service after a few years of struggle and self study.
