The college has a well-established library which caters to the need of the undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, and the faculty. The library is stocked with 10000 volumes of books arranged in 24 bureaus and 62 racks. The library functions on an open access system for the faculty members and the research scholars and students as well. The library remains open between 9.00 AM and 6.00 PM on all working days. It subscribes to nearly 1500 National and International Journals in various disciplines of Science, Humanities, Management, and Engineering. Services such as lending of books and journals, reading room, reprographics facilities and bibliographic reference and information are rendered by the library. Open Access System is being followed for issuing of books in the library and the students are being allowed to keep the books for 15 days. The library has developed an extensive CD-Database of back volumes and abstracts of leading journals in Science, Engineering, and Technology. A 14-drive CD tower networked with workstations serves the database-server. The library provides audio-visual services with video cameras, VCRs, and TV monitors. |
