Hostel
Overlooking the green pastures, separate hostels for boys and girls are available inside the campus and can accommodate up to 150 boys and around 50 girls. BITS provides affordable residential accommodation available within the campus to cultivate an environment conducive to comfort and promote interaction among students, their peers, and faculty members. Hostel rooms are provided on a twin or triple-sharing basis with all modern facilities and some even have their own attached veranda and washrooms. The occupancy for the rooms depends on availability, student seniority and merit. The hostels also have a separate mess with the latest kitchen equipment used to make meals and provide healthy and hygienic meals and spacious dining halls to eat in. The rooms are spacious and well-ventilated, designed specifically for comfort and equipped with the facilities of a bed, study table and cupboards provided for the students. Each floor has the facilities of toilets, a bathroom, a common room, and recreation activities i.e. TV, indoor games and newspapers. The hostels also have round-the-clock security and students are expected to abide by the hostel rules for their own safety and well-being.. A warden /hostel in-charge looks after the administration of the hostel.
