The library is unarguably the most important academic facility of any university. Jagran Lakecity Universityy has gone far and beyond to make sure that its Library is one of a kind, not only in the country but in the whole world. The primary library at JLU Student Enrichment Hub, is a breathtaking iconic 90 feet tall PYRAMID, which is the only functional pyramid used for academic purpose in India. Spread in 28000 sq. ft. the structure houses 35000 books and has a subscription of 30+ monthly and annual journals and magazines. The Pyramid has a quiet reading area for 100 students and also gives access to vast reading resources online. The students and staff at JLU are provided access credentials to ‘McGraw Hill E-Books’ which additionally opens millions of books, journals, research papers, and much more. The Faculty of Law house a separate ‘Mini-Library’ in Block C, which has around 2000 hardcover books, and students of law, are provided access to thousands of legal resources online. The Library at the main MungaliaChap Campus of JLU houses over 8000 books, magazines, and journals. It also has 25 computer systems that serve the purpose of an E-Library for the learners. The library is at Block A and has a subscription of 8 annual and monthly journals especially from the Engineering and Hospitality sector.

Mess: The University’s dining hall through its modern kitchen and a seating capacity for 180 people is designed to cater students & staff with hygienically cooked, mouthwatering dishes. The hostilities indulge in nutritious food 4 times a day and the mess will not let you miss your home cooked meal. The best part about the mess at Jagran Lakecity University is that the student committee along with faculty members decides the menu for every semester. So, when students and administrators join hands to improve the food on campus, mess is no longer a monotonous place with boring food. Food Court: For the foodies, our campus has a lively eating space, called ‘APPETITE’. It has 5 food outlets where you can indulge yourself in the delightful cuisines from around the globe. Food is an opportunity for a university to define its culture and APPETITE is really that - a melting point for the entire university to come, sit together as one single community and enjoy the food. But that’s not all, JLU regularly hosts food festivals and events that appeal to every palette and are amazing to socialize and make new friends. Food is nourishment for our bodies and a lot more than that, so we have facilitated the students to take the time to enjoy it.

The university offers comprehensive hostel facilities for boys and girls separately within the campus and outside respectively. JLU has a capacity to accommodate 400+ students which will be increased to 1000 by 2022. The Student Enrichment Hub at Chandanpura has a modern hostel, which has 3 blocks and 14 floors where students can avail single, double or triple occupancy, a/c and non a/c rooms as per their preference. The rooms are fully furnished, properly ventilated and adequately sunlit during the day. The off-campus accommodation of JLU offers double and triple occupancy rooms and can house 70+ students; bus service is available for traveling to and fro campuses.

Jagran Lakecity University is recognized equally for its illustrious sporting infrastructure as it is for its excellence in education and research. Over the past 7 years, the University has been home to some of the country’s upcoming sportsmen and women. Sports and Extra-Curricular activities are an integral part of life at JLU and the university provides one of central India’s leading sports facilities for talented student-athletes to support them in achieving their sporting ambitions. We also want students, staff, and the entire community of JLU to understand the importance of their health and wellbeing. May it be playing on the fields, competing at basketball courts, singing or dancing in auditoriums, or swimming in 6 lanes Olympic standard pool, Jagran Lakecity University offers its students ample opportunities to partake. Thus, their musical, sporting, and other talents are showcased and it aligns with our objective of providing Jagranites with a platform to work on their craft and keep their flair alive. We create an environment where students are nurtured to develop and showcase a wide variety of skills including sports, ensuring that they are well prepared for the job market. JLU has two football fields, two basketball and volleyball courts each, a multipurpose ground is used to host cricket and athletic tournaments, a fully equipped Gymnasium and Recreation Center. Recreation center: Opened in 2019, the Recreation Center is designed to house all the non-athletic games and activities. The center has board games, a pool table, and an indoor multipurpose hall with judo mats and martial arts gear that helps the Jagranites to stay physically fit. University also uses the center to conducts a range of classes, including Yoga, Zumba, Dance classes, and more. The staff and day boarders can access the center at allotted times and hostellers get the subscription to the center and gym as an added benefit for boarding on campus.

Our state-of-the-art Gymnasium has cardiovascular equipment including treadmills and elliptical. We also have dumbbells, z-rods, leg press, bench press and multiple weight training equipment. In addition to this, we have a free weights section as well as a stretching area for your essential cool-down or foam-rolling session. The gym tactically overlooks the clear blue swimming pool which entices an individual to exercise in this pristine environment.

To facilitate the commute, Jagran Lakecity University has 15 CCTV enabled busses plying to and fro on 24 bus routes throughout the city, which are thoroughly sanitized twice daily, ensuring safe travel for its students. These busses have a lady guard to accompany the students and have all the necessary safety measures like Speed Governor, GPS Tracking and fulfill all other norms as per Government guidelines. The buses are scheduled as per the student number concentration on a specific route. The schedule is flexible enough to accommodate any happenstance but also punctual so that the students don’t have to compromise on class timings. The hostellers, who want to explore the city, can hop on any of the busses going to separate routes thrice-weekly which also bring them back at a designated time. Three cars are dedicated for the local commute of the staff or guests who are staying on campus.

Laboratories at JLU are the backbone of practice-based pedagogy. Combining the PC and non-PC labs, JLU has over 45 labs. These are designed and utilized as per the need and requirements of specific schools. Jagran Lakecity Business School (JLBS), the flagship business school has a computer lab with a capacity to accommodate 45 students; JLU School of Law in its lab can house 60 students. The video editing lab at ‘Shri Gurudev Gupta Media Studios’ has 30 high tech systems for all creative purposes; it also has a photography lab, a media production lab with 20 systems and an audio recording and broadcast studio. The Jagran School of Humanities and Social Sciences has a Psychology lab and an education lab for the display of charts, graphs, and mock counseling sessions. Dedicated especially to sports, JLU also has a Physiology and Anatomy lab, Yoga lab, and a Testing lab to conduct fitness tests of athletes. Two large halls with judo mats are also at disposal to practice and organize martial arts events, like Judo, Karate, Boxing, Taekwondo, etc. The JLU School of Hospitality and Tourism (SOHT) has 3 fully equipped kitchens, 1 restaurant, one front office, one bakery, one housekeeping & laundry lab, and two demo (Hotel) rooms for training. No aspect of the industry is left out in which the students are not trained practically. The JLU School of Engineering and Technology (SOET) has 24 operational labs which are equipped with all instruments and facilities that an engineering student from any stream might require. The 5 computer labs at SOET have over 100 systems in total and are used for, CAD/CAM/CAE, computer programming, networking and are enabled with WINDOWS and UNIX/LINUX both.
