B.E. / B.Tech	Candidates passed Diploma are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/ semesters of the Degree Examination from any recognised institute/university. Final year students can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates must have valid GATE score.

It also subscribes to online full-text Journals and Resources. It regularly adds new journals and resources to the collection for the benefits and easy access to all the users. The library offers spacious seating arrangements and a calm ambiance for learning.

M. S. Engineering College has a well-maintained canteen that offers nutritious food prepared in hygienic kitchens to the daytime students as well as the hostel students. The canteen provides food for both hostel and day scholar students.

M. S. Engineering College provides spacious and well-furnished rooms. The hostel has been monitored by security personnel 24/7.Warden and some senior faculty members reside on campus. A senior medical practitioner is available on campus 24/7 to render medical help to the students. Sports Complex
M. S. Engineering College's playground provides outdoor sports facilities like basketball, volleyball and handball, etc and indoor sports like table tennis, carrom, gymnasium, and chess etc. The students are encouraged to choose any game of their interest and adequate coaching for the same will be given by the respective coaches.

Shuttle Service
M. S. Engineering College has a well-scheduled transport system. They operate 20 buses from different parts of Bangalore. About 1500 students and 150 staff have been using the facility. In addition to the regular buses, one shuttle service bus has been provided from Sadahalli Gate to college and back, free of cost to help the students to reach on time.
